Jessica Tallman – Owner/D.C.
Dr. Jessica is a fourth generation chiropractor who has a passion for helping people get well and stay well. She chose the chiropractic profession because it expresses a healthcare philosophy that addresses the importance of caring for the whole person – physically, chemically and emotionally. She created Mind and Body Family Wellness to be a community of patients and providers who want to practice healthy lifestyle habits and help each other along the journey.
Dr. Jessica incorporates chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue work, rehabilitative exercises and emotional balancing into a personalized treatment plan for each individual patient. To best meet the needs of those seeking care, she uses a blend of adjusting techniques including Diversified manual techniques, as well as, light touch techniques that do not include the traditional “popping” and “twisting”, such as Sacral Occipital Technique (SOT) and Koren Specific Technique (KST). She has a well-rounded variety of techniques so each person she helps will be comfortable with her care.
Dr. Jessica is certified in Webster, a chiropractic technique focused on helping women through their pregnancies and addressing the pelvis to help with optimal baby position at birth.
As a mother of three adorable little girls, Dr. Jessica has a special interest in working with pregnant women and children. Dr. Jessica also loves working closely with women as they balance busy lives in a world that always seems to ask for “more”.
Dr. Jessica is a former college track and field athlete who has a special place in her heart for assisting sports enthusiasts to help maximize health and optimize performance.
From newborns to seniors, Dr. Jessica’s goal is to empower each patient to reach full wellness potential.
Dr. Jessica is happily married to Jamie Tallman and they have three daughters: Josie, Julia, and Janna.

Abby Peacock – Office Manager
Abby Peacock is the friendly face at the front desk. Abby has held many jobs over the years, and feels the role as Office Manager for Mind and Body Family Wellness is a great fit for her skillset. She has a background in art and photography, but she brings structure and organization to the office as well. She is very interested in health and wellness and is excited to be surrounded by so much knowledge and experience every day. Her mother is a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor, so she grew up in a world of holistic health and nutrition.
She is happy to answer your questions, plan for appointments, help resolve concerns and make your visits positive. It is important to her that each of you enjoy a feeling of ease and confidence in our office. The goal is to keep the environment positive here and to make it feel warm and inviting. Abby wants you to feel like family when you come to the office. Abby has two wonderful children, Bella and Nate. They have experienced so much life and traveled to many places together. They love to be outside and lead very active lives. If you catch Abby in a moment to herself you might find her creating art, crafting or gardening. She also loves to read a good book with a cup of tea. Helping people is high on her list of things she enjoys, so assisting Dr. Jessica in doing that is very fulfilling.
